Testimonials
I have worked with Caroline Crumpacker in several capacities — as a board member, editor, executive coach, and confidante. A deeply thoughtful, seasoned professional in her field, she knows the not-for-profit world inside and out. From fundraising to marketing, to operations, and relationship management, she is a pro — and a pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend her work highly enough.

Ultra Retreats
We offer a range of immersive experiences focused on the areas listed above as well as more topical issues.
Retreat offerings include meetings in our well-appointed office, and lodging at a lovely local inn — both in Tivoli, New York, a sweet mid- Hudson Valley town. Sometimes fresh air, lovely surroundings, and time for a thorough conversation make all the difference.
Ultra Retreats last between 1 and 5 days and can include lodging, meals, and local outings, as well as deep-dive work-sessions.
Each retreat is different, and tailored to your specific organization. We work with you to decide if a retreat is appropriate and to organize and schedule it per your needs.
Coaching
We offer a range of coaching services designed to help staff maximize their strengths while finding ways to work through challenges productively.
This includes the development of a positive and generative work environment related to community commitments, as well as the creation of foundational documents such as a code of conduct and an employee handbook, etc.
We look at staff issues holistically, helping you develop an inclusive, equity-conscious, and trauma-conscious workplace culture and mode(s) of communication.
“The efficacy of the philanthropic approach is that it engages the long-standing, and overarching structures, such as laws and institutions, that perpetuate inequity in society.”
— Jule Hall, Assistant Director of External Programs, The Innocence Project
